Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is one of those capabilities most of us know we need but few of us actively work on. We have the meeting that didn’t land the way we expected, or the client we find more difficult to deal with, we feel the friction, and then we move on to the next thing. We don’t have the time or the resources to focus on our own growth.
In this session we’ll look at CQ as it’s been researched and developed by Ang and Van Dyne: the four capabilities of Drive, Knowledge, Strategy and Action, and where each of us tends to be strong or stretched. From there we’ll get practical. I’ll show you how to set up your AI, whatever model you are using, so it can act as an ongoing CQ coach in your pocket. One that nudges you to reflect, helps you prepare for a tricky conversation, debriefs the ones that didn’t go well, and keeps the learning going long after the session ends.
You’ll leave with a set of ready-to-use prompts, a clear way to set them up in your own AI, and a sense of which CQ capability is worth your attention first.
