Since we last chatted many of us have had to normalise very different ways of working; working from home, learning to unmute ourselves, navigating zoom meetings and balancing the needs for home schooling, just to name a few.  As we are transitioning to the new working normal, it is timely to share what we have been up to here at Quest Apartment Hotels and introduce to you our ‘Stay Safe- A Quest Promise’:

  • WE HAVE BEEN HEARTENED BY THE TRUST ESSENTIAL WORKERS HAVE PUT IN OUR BRAND. WE HAVE PROUDLY ACCOMMODATED FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS FROM THE MINING, CONSTRUCTION, MANUFACTURING AND THE HEALTH SEGMENTS WHO HAVE NEEDED TO WORK DURING THESE TIMES.
  • OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE ETHOS HAS CONTINUED TO SHINE THROUGH. WE HAVE RECEIVED MANY APPRECIATION MESSAGES FROM OUR GUESTS, ACKNOWLEDGING OUR FRANCHISEES AND PROPERTY MANAGERS WHO HAVE GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES TO SERVICE THEIR NEEDS, FROM DELIVERING FISHING RODS, GROCERIES AND ORGANISING CHILDREN’S’ MOVIE NIGHTS IN OUR CONFERENCE ROOMS JUST TO NAME A FEW.
  • WE HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN SUPPORTING AND ACCOMMODATING OUR DOCTORS AND NURSES ON THE FRONTLINE THAT NEEDED A SAFE HOME AWAY FROM HOME EXPERIENCE. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THEIR WORK BEING 24/7 WE DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED A BRAND-NEW BOOKING PLATFORM, QUEST HEALTHCARE ASSIST. THIS WAS DISTRIBUTED TO ALL OUR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS WHICH ALLOWED THEM TO VIEW AND BOOK OUR SERVICED APARTMENTS AT THE CONCLUSION OF THEIR SHIFTS.
  • WE OPERATIONALISED OUR RESERVATION TEAM TO WORK 24/7, FROM HOME, TO SUPPORT OUR CUSTOMER DEMAND DURING THIS TIME.
  • WE HAVE CHAMPIONED THE HOUSING FOR ALL AUSTRALIANS CAUSE TO PROVIDE ACCOMMODATION DURING THESE CHALLENGING TIMES FOR FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED A CHANGE IN THEIR LIFE CONDITIONS DUE TO THE COVID CRISIS.
  • OUR EXPANSION PLANS HAVE CONTINUED AND THIS MONTH WE OPENED OUR FIRST PROPERTY ON THE GOLD COAST, QUEST ROBINA . OUR FRANCHISEES FLEUR AND JOSH HAVE RELOCATED THEIR FAMILY TO THE GOLD COAST AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WELCOMING THEIR GUESTS WHEN THE BOARDER RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED.
  • LASTLY, ALL OUR PROPERTIES HAVE REMAINED OPEN AS WE HAVE STAYED COMMITTED IN ENSURING THAT WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PROVIDE A HOME AWAY FROM EXPERIENCE FOR ALL ESSENTIAL WORKERS DURING THIS TIME.

WHILE THE GOVERNMENT WORKS TOWARDS THE RECOVERY PLAN AND LIFTING THE RESTRICTIONS, WE APPRECIATE YOUR FOCUS IS ON THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES. LIKEWISE, AT QUEST APARTMENT HOTELS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY IS ON ENSURING THAT THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF ALL OUR GUESTS IS DELIVERED ON.

THAT’S WHY WE HAVE CREATED ‘STAY SAFE – A QUEST PROMISE’ – SO EVERYONE WHO CHECKS IN WITH US CAN FEEL CONFIDENT THEY ARE IN SAFE HANDS. BELOW IS AN UPDATE ON WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PRIORITISE THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF ALL OUR GUESTS AND STAFF:

  • ALL GUESTS, STAFF AND ASSOCIATES HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO PRACTISE GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE AND TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY IF THEY FEEL UNWELL.
  • WE HAVE ALSO IMPLEMENTED PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AT OUR APARTMENT HOTELS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES FROM THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION  AND PUBLIC HEALTH AUTHORITIES IN THE RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES WE OPERATE IN.
  • WE HAVE INTENSIFIED THE CLEANING AND DISINFECTING OF ALL OUR PROPERTIES, WITH CLEANING NOW ADDRESSING ALL SURFACES POTENTIALLY TOUCHED BY A GUEST DURING THEIR STAY.  OUR HOUSEKEEPING TEAMS RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING ARE FITTED WITH THE APPROPRIATE PPE AND CLEANING MATERIALS TO ENSURE BEST PRACTICE.
  • ALL APPROPRIATE MEASURES HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO EDUCATE GUESTS AND PROMOTE THE CORRECT BEHAVIOURS. SOCIAL DISTANCING CUES HAVE BEEN SET OUT IN OUR SERVICED APARTMENT WHERE NECESSARY AND HAND SANITISER HAS BEEN MADE READILY AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT.
  • IN ADDITION TO THE RIGOROUS AND UPWEIGHTED CLEANING ALREADY UNDERWAY, ALL QUEST CLEANING AND GUEST SERVICES STAFF ARE CURRENTLY UNDERTAKING EXTENSIVE COVID-19 CONTROL TRAINING TO ENSURE WE ARE EXCEEDING MANDATED CLEANLINESS EXPECTATIONS AND SAFEGUARDING OUR VALUED GUESTS.
  • WE HAVE APPOINTED A STAY SAFE COMPLIANCE MANAGER WHO ENSURES WORLD-CLASS CLEANLINESS STANDARDS IN ALL PROPERTIES, BY VERIFYING THEIR COMPLIANCE TO GUIDELINES SET BY THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION AND RELEVANT STATE GOVERNMENTS. THE STAY SAFE COMPLIANCE MANAGERS HAVE A DIRECT REPORTING LINE TO DAVID MANSFIELD, OUR CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER.
