The Immigration Advisory Group (IAG) is TEMi’s employer-focused advocacy forum, bringing together leaders from across industries to provide clear, evidence-based insights to government on Australia’s immigration and global mobility settings.

Chaired by TEMi’s Immigration Liaison Officer (ILO), the IAG plays a key role in shaping policy conversations that impact workforce mobility, operational compliance, and access to skilled global talent.

Our Focus

The IAG works collaboratively to:

Identify system challenges affecting employers

Provide practical, experience-driven input to government

Highlight opportunities for improved processes and outcomes

Strengthen Australia’s ability to attract and retain global talent

Who Participates

Membership includes senior HR, Talent and Mobility leaders, and select TEMi Partner Panel organisations with immigration expertise.

Participants contribute actively, sharing insights and sector-wide experience.
